After 26 years of practicing Tai Chi both with and without a teacher, I am still finding that the more I learn the less I know. Every day, every class, it still comes back down to basics. Relax, stand tall, center yourself, breathe through your nose, lead from the waist.

Without focus, it’s just empty practice. But when I concentrate, I always leave feeling better than when I came in.

Wushu Master Wudong from Beijing Sport University arrived for a two-week visit to the Red Lotus Tai Chi Qigong school in NH during August 2008.
